The Boys from Old Fitzroy are back at Brunswick Street
On Monday the 8th December 2008, the Fitzroy Football Club entered into a merger agreement with the FITZROY REDS to field a FITZROY senior team in the VAFA competition.
The merger with the Fitzroy Reds in no way affects the merger with the Brisbane Lions at AFL level.
It will ensure the future of senior football at the Fitzroy football ground which has the wonderful support of the very successful FITZROY JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB. Fitzroy members and supporters are urged to get behind the Club and support it, which thanks to the FITZROY REDS and the VAFA, is now back home where we started 125 years ago last September.
