"FITZROY Football Club is ready to launch its 2006 Lions' calendar, marking its 10th year in footy "exile". The black-and-white publication features Fitzroy past greats, including Paul Roos, Alastair Lynch, Richard Osborne, Bernie Quinlan, Kevin Murray and Owen Abrahams, and will have a sting in the tail. The calendar also reproduces the controversial banner raised by Roys supporters at the last game the team played at Victoria Park against the Pies. Profits will fund the Roys' amateur team, the Fitzroy Reds, 2005 amateur competition champions. Lawyer Dyson Hore-Lacy is tipped to remain chairman for a 14th year.
