Fitzroy, for the love of the Jumper

Scot Palmer , Herald Sun Sunday 1st September 2002

"In 1957 Fitzroy changed from a Guernsey of deep maroon and navy blue, with the same blue emblem you had trouble seeing to a more visible white emblem. The two Guernsey styles are returning to popularity among die-hard Lions, who are ordering them through the club's website. They've reappeared at AFL games, particularly the old traditional blue. Still in the den, Chris Donald's magnificent book Fitzroy - For the love of the Jumper, which tells the story of the greatest Lions, will be launched soon.."
