"Fitzroy's website is running hot supplying details for the Club's return to the MCG on August 9 when it will play in a set of original colours of red and blue with the yellow FFC logo. The colours belong to the amateur Brunswick St Oval based side Fitzroy Reds, sponsored by the remnants of old Fitzroy who will be playing West Brunswick who wear the Collingwood colours. The curtain raiser to the Collingwood-Brisbane Foundation Day game will start at 10.45am and is expected to attract hundreds of still-lamenting Lions back to the fold. Already they've heard about a "Garry Wilson" lookalike" playing for the Reds; he's a Rover of similar build, who wears No. 29. And guess what?? He even wears a helmet."
