"FITZROY Football Club is holding its first official function since 1996. The Haydn Bunton Ball next Saturday at Albert by the Lake will celebrate the contribution to football by the three time Brownlow Medalist. The club is raising money to erect a 2.74m, $60,000 statue of Haydn Bunton (below) at the Brunswick Street ground. Past players who will be there include Doc Wheildon, David Strooper, David McMahon, Michael Gale, Ross Thornton, Jason Baldwin, Michael Conlon and Jamie Cooper.
