Women’s Senior Coach 2027

Fitzroy Football Club is seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Coach to lead our women’s team in the VAFA Premier Division in 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity to take an established and growing women’s football program to the next level.

Fitzroy has a proud history of women’s football, a strong playing culture and a longstanding commitment to developing the women’s game. We are looking for a coach who can build on that foundation and drive the team towards sustained success in the Premier Division. Fitzroy is also a proud supporter and member of the Women & Girls community football charter.

Fitzroy’s women's program continues to grow, with the club fielding three women’s teams in 2026 and ambitions to establish an Under 19 team in 2027. With a large and talented playing group, there is a genuine opportunity for the successful coach to shape the future direction of the program, develop players and build a high-performing football environment across all teams.

A key strength of Fitzroy is our strong connection with the Fitzroy Junior Football Club, which provides a clear pathway for young players into senior women’s football. Building and strengthening this pathway will be an important part of the role and an exciting opportunity to contribute to the long-term growth of women’s football at Fitzroy.

Fitzroy Football Club is now one of the largest clubs in amateur football, with a proud culture, strong community and growing ambition.

This role provides a unique opportunity to help shape the next chapter of the women’s program, continuing to build on its strong foundations, develop a high-performing culture and drive further success, while leading the team at the iconic Brunswick Street Oval every second Saturday.
