Client: Our Client focusses on providing integration and managed services to make audio, video and telephony hardware and software products work together.

The Job: Due to a new technology and growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Melbourne team based in the CBD

This role will ask you to sell, prospect, define, develop, negotiate, close and grow business relationships.

Your responsibilities:
  • Identifying new sales leads, potential new markets by researching industry and current clientele
  • Locating and pitching products and services to net new opportunities and discovering and exploring opportunities with clients;
  • Screening potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and recommending solutions;
  • Developing and executing innovative and strategic responses for strategies to respond to Tenders

Your work experience

  • Ideally 5 - 10+ years hands-on proven work experience as a Business Development Manager, and Sales
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with a solutions-based approach to selling;
  • Experience working with clients to investigate, develop and implement or advise on methods for achieving sound software configuration
  • A strong knowledge of AV/VC would be seen as advantageous, but not essential
