All our Fitzroy sides are back on the park this week after another bye weekend –and we're so happy to have footy back with our Roys taking to the field this week with some exciting matches across Saturday.
So no more byes now! (Well, just one more, we tell a lie, in Round 14 our Div 1 Thirds have one more before finals!).
This Saturday our Senior and Reserves Men take on Ajax at home at Brunswick Street Oval where we're also hosting the Reds Foundation luncheon with special guest, lawyer, broadcaster, writer, and North Fitzroy local Jon Faine. The lunch sold out in record time and it's going to be at great day at BSO!
Our Senior Women are currently top of the Prem B ladder! This side has been so impressive this season under Michael Harper, Nathan Jumeau and Mel Story's leadership. There are only two rounds left in the women's season so be sure to show your support as our Seniors and Reserves take on Monash Blues and Yarra old Grammarians in the coming weeks!
Our Thirds and Gold Thirds have three rounds remaining before finals footy. We wish Trent Coleman and Silvano Inserra all the best over the coming weeks against some top sides.
It's all happening Roys family! See you back at the footy Saturday!

Starts 1 hour 03:20 goes to 1 hour 16:05 In 1979, Peter Francis played in a premiership for Carlton in what was his first season in the big league. Fast forward just 18 months down the track and Peter had played the first 11 games in what would become another premiership winning season for the Blues. But Peter would find himself finishing the season in a different jumper, having been traded to Fitzroy mid-season.
